To build most applications with Mechanical SDK, the McadApi library is required. It provides the following functionality:

• amiCreate2dCompDef — Creates new component definitions.
• amiInstance2dComp — Creates component instances based on component definitions.
• ami2DSCreateCompViewDef — Creates component view definitions based on previously created components.
• ami2DSInstanceCompView — Creates component view instances based on component view definitions.
• ami2DSInstanceAnnotationView — Creates annotation views.
• ami2DSCreateAnnotationViewLabels — Creates annotation view labels for annotation views.
