Description

Writes a value into a specified buffer.

Parameters

Parameters	Description
valueToWrite	[in] A value to write.
returnValue	[out] A raw pointer to a written value that is created in the function and is returned to a calling subroutine.

Returns

An unsigned 32-bit integer that contains the number of written bytes, or -1 if the write operation fails.
