The following is a list of naming conventions used for ODA downloadable archives (.zip and .tar.gz), by platform.

Windows 64-bit

• vc<N> — Microsoft Visual Studio version, where <N> means one of the following:
  • 14 — Microsoft Visual Studio 2015.
  • 14xp — Microsoft Visual Studio 2015 with WinXP support.
  • 15 — Microsoft Visual Studio 2017.
  • 16 — Microsoft Visual Studio 2019.
• dll — Indicates dynamic link library version.
• dbg — Indicates the presence of debug information.
• rwd — Release build containing debug information (useful for reproducing certain types of runtime problems)

Linux

• lnx— Linux.
• X64— Indicates X64 platform.
• 4.8, 4.9, etc. — GCC versions.
• dll— Indicates a shared library version.

Macintosh

• macOsX — macOS.
• x64 — Libraries built for X64 respectively.
• 10.14, 10.15, etc. — Version number of macOS that the libraries are built for using Clang.
• dll — Indicates a shared library version.
